Committee name: Nominations and Elections and Elections Committee
Purpose: Hold club election and tally votes on matters normally on
the annual election ballot submitted to the members. Typically committee comprised of most recent four Past Presidents plus Chair
who is the current Immediate Past President
Duties: Identifies members for service and leadership as Club Officers and Directors. Later, form a “Tellers” Committee to organize the ballot, hold club election and tally votes on matters normally on the annual election ballot submitted to the members.
Committee name: Young Children: Priority One Committee
Purpose: Addresses the needs of children – prenatal through age 5
Duties: Support
Local, Division and District charitable services
Committee name: Interclub Committee
Purpose: Seeks to visit other Kiwanis Clubs for networking and learning other clubs’ best practices
Duties: Coordinates and Organizes club members for visits to other Kiwanis club’s meetings
Committee Name: Financial Review Committee
Purpose: Assure Club’s Income and Expenses are correctly recorded
Duties: Annually review
financials and report to the Board
Committee name: Fundraising Committee
Purpose: Plan and execute “I” plan “Investment” intent
Duties: Gathers money through fundraising
efforts such as Hometown Series Collectable Cars, flags, peanut sales, bedsheets, annual club Dinner/Raffle and dinner, Applebees
breakfast, etc.
Committee name: Human and Spiritual Values Committee
Purpose: Remembers and encourages club members
Duties: Send Club Memorials, Get
Well cards, Birth Announcements/Cards, Recognitions, etc.
Committee name: Membership Growth & Education Committee
Purpose: Strives to increase membership, educate and retain members.
Duties: conducts orientation & induction ceremony for new members; maintains the Membership Roster
